Sam is an avid outdoorsman since the age of 9. He has over 30 years experience on the waters in Manitoba and NW Ontario. He s the owner and operator of Central Guiding Service in Winnipeg Manitoba which services guests from all over the globe to fish world class channel catfish on the Red river, Sturgeon on the Winnipeg River and Trophy Musky in NW Ontario as well as deer /small game hunts in Central Manitoba. Sam is also a certified Boater Exam Instructor and a certified Hunter Safety Instructor in Manitoba.

Over the years Sam has pursued his passion in sport fishing by freelance writing in various magazines and publications. He has associated himself in many local and national clubs as well as dedicated/donated efforts for causes like Kids fishing for a Cure fundraiser and the 24 hour Walleye Warriors Marathon for Cancer Care, Manitoba Wildlife Federation, Travel Manitoba and Winnipeg Corporate Media Challenge.

Sam has also participated in local fishing tournaments over the years as well as helping in the design concepts for the Streamside Predator Freshwater series Rods and Baits .
